Odyssey, now led and fronted by Steven Collazo is originally a New York-based {now UK-based} band. which began as the Connecticut-born "Lopez Sisters" group, featuring Steven's mother, Lillian (Lillian Lopez Collazo Jackson; 16 November 1935 – 4 September 2012), Louise Lopez (born February 22, 1933), and Carmen Lopez (born July 12, 1934), the latter having left the group before Odyssey, as the act would come to be known after her departure, was conceived. The group, best known for their 1977 hit, "Native New Yorker," continues to record and perform worldwide.
