The band is known for their selling songs through internet marketing; they received a record deal from their success at MP3.com. In 2000, Time magazine said that they were "about to become the biggest Internet-based band ever". Their song "I Will Love You" hit #36 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart in 2000. In 2000, it was named the most downloaded song in Internet history.
