Tara Vanflower is a vocalist whose music has been described as ambient, experimental, and darkwave.

In October 1994 she became a vocalist for Projekt Records darkwave outfit Lycia. She married fellow band member Mike VanPortfleet. After two albums, the couple left the band. They formed the Lycium Music record label.
