Supreme Dicks is an experimental rock group formed in 1984 by Jon Shere and Stuart Morris. The band produced songs that combined dissonant lo-fi noise, avant-garde, and psychedelic sounds to realize dilapitated and warped song structures.
The primary band members are Jon Shere, Daniel Oxenberg, Mark Hansen, and Steve Shavel. Other members at various times have included John Galvin III, Jim Spring and Dave Taub. The band also has a tradition of inviting others to play with them onstage. Most turn down this invitation. However, some of the musicians who actually took them up on this offer include Beck, Ted Vander Clute, Dan Kapelovitz, and Ariel Pink.
