Carbon Leaf is a five-piece indie rock band from Ashland, Virginia known for their alt-country, Celtic, and folk-infused Indie Rock. On March 20, 2010, in a radio interview on WCNR the band announced that they are leaving Vanguard Records with the aim to release music more frequently and via media other than CD.
