Charly García (born Carlos Alberto García Moreno on October 23, 1951) is a singer-songwriter, musician, and producer from Argentina with a long career in rock music, forming successful groups such as Sui Generis and Serú Girán, cult status groups like La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros, and as a solo musician. His main instruments are piano and keyboards. He is widely considered by critics as one of the most influential rock artists in the Spanish rock scene.
