Forefather is a pagan metal band from Surrey, England. There is debate as to which sub-genre or sub-genres of metal the band belongs while the band itself describes its music as 'Anglo-Saxon Metal' due to its Anglo-Saxon themed lyrical content . Since their inception in 1997 the band has released six studio albums.
