Digable Planets /ˈdɪɡəbəl ˈplænəts/ was an American alternative hip hop trio based in New York City, composed of Ishmael "Butterfly" Butler (from Seattle), Mary Ann "Ladybug Mecca" Vieira (from Silver Spring, Maryland) and Craig "Doodlebug" Irving (from Philadelphia).
