Edwin Fischer (October 6, 1886 – January 24, 1960) was a Swiss classical pianist and conductor. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest interpreters of traditional Germanic repertoire of the twentieth century, and one of the finest piano pedagogues of the modern era.
