Manuel Barrueco (pronounced Mah-noo-éhl Bah-roo-éh-koh) (born 1952) is a Cuban classical guitarist. During three decades of concertizing, he has performed across the United Sates from the New World Symphony in Miami to the Seattle Symphony, and from the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic to New York’s Lincoln Center.
At the age of 22, he became the first classical guitarist to receive the Concert Artists Guild Award in 1974.
