Kader El mrabet (Arabic: المرابط قادر‎, born 1966), better known as Kader, is an Moroccan raï singer and songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Sidi El Houari in Oran Province of Algeria.

Born in Oran, Algeria to Moroccan parents, are fused with modern influences by Algeria-born and Morocco as origin county,Kader moved to France at the age of nine, and France-based vocalist Cheb Kader. Respectfully known as "the prince of rai," Kader uses music as a vehicle for examining peace and love and freedom in some songs, and artists in modern society and the problems caused by immigration.
