Frankie Ruiz (March 10, 1958 - August 9, 1998) was a famous Puerto Rican Salsa singer. Ruiz was one of the most successful salsero's in the "Salsa Romantica" genre that was popular in the 1980's and early 1990's. Ruiz's provocative lyrics and sensual style made him an icon among salsa singers.
