Ali Tamposi is a Los Angeles-based songwriter from West Palm Beach, Florida, best known for co-writing Kelly Clarkson's song, "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)". "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" became Kelly Clarkson's biggest commercial hit to date and earned multiple Grammy nominations including Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Ali has written for many artists such as Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Rozzi Crane, Demi Lovato, Lea Michele, Ciara, One Direction and Gary Clark Jr.
Ali appeared on the final season of the X Factor as vocal coach and mentor to Simon Cowell's team, working alongside groups Restless Road, Sweet Suspense, and winners Alex & Sierra. She worked closely with Alex & Sierra on their debut album, writing four songs with the duo.
