Gen X Radio is an internet radio station based in the Safety Harbor FL. Founded on the eve of 2009, we are a member of the Live365 radio network. Our primary format is best described as the history of Classic Alternative thrown into a musical blender. Largely influenced by the legendary Washington DC station WHFS, Gen X Radio is an ongoing attempt to recreate the Alternative radio that Gen X'ers grew up listening to. We think of ourselves more as music archivists than station programmers, and have more ideas than we do resources.
