Griffin Radio is a practical applications laboratory for students to learn about on and off-air radio/audio production techniques. Students learn first hand what it takes to manage, produce and operate at a radio station.Griffin Radio is owned and operated by the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District in El Cajon, CA and is located on the Grossmont Campus.Griffin Radio is accessed through the Department of Media Communications after appropriate pre-requisites are met (MCOM 116 and/or 113). It is offered as a class as part of the Department's Curriculum (MCOM 119 sections A, B, C, D).Griffin Radio Executive Staff consists of the following positions.
