Mamas Gun is a five-piece London based electric groove band whose third album “Cheap Hotel” will be released in September 2014. They have toured and performed all over the world with the likes of Level 42, Beverly Knight and Ben l'Oncle Soul and have forthcoming tour dates in the UK and globally throughout 2014. Their first two albums “Routes to Riches” and “The Life And Soul” successfully broke them in Southeast Asia and Japan where, in late 2009, they became the most played international artist (beating Madonna). Previous releases have also received heavy UK and European support including significant BBC radio playlist features.
The band is named after Erykah Badu album Mama's Gun.
