The Reggae Spin is a family friendly radio program broadcasting online Sat. 2pm - 6pm and Sundays 7pm - 10pm from New Jersey. The Reggae Spin was created by Garfield and Mikey G in 1990 to fill the airwaves with the caribbean vibes it was missing. Over the years time they spent 18 years on 88.7Fm, the William Paterson Universy Radio. During their 18 years there Keveon joined the team in late 2003 and Anthony Turner in early 2004. Keveon previously had a few radio shows on 88.7fm which included Caribbean Power Jams with DJ Franchise and Big Rod, Hip-Hop Meets Reggae with DJ Wize, Jazz Vibes, Friday Night Trax with DJ Book'em DanO. Anthony Turner is a well known journalist and public relations cordinator who brings the Entertainment News to the Reggae Spin as 'the man on the Street". In 2010 they retired from 88.7fm to become an independent online radio station. They have interviewed artistes succh as Julian Marley, Da'ville, Tanya Stephens, Kristopher, Major Mackerell, Sister Nancey, Anthony Malvo, Delus, Tony Curtis, Tany Mullings, Steele, just to name a few. The show also has aspects such as quiz's, before & after, things that make you wonder, to name a few. Over 20 years of service to the community and still going strong.
